1967 Alfa Romeo GTV body on 1988 Alfa Milano Verde chassis swap Busso V6 front

1988 Alfa Romeo Milano with 67 GTV Body

"The best of both worlds," the seller states, referring to the combination of the torsion beam independent suspension front, DeDion axle rear transaxle chassis. We don't disagree, but we ourselves haven't chopped a GTV in half either.

We've seen a number of Alfetta GTVs - and the cooler Alfetta Sport Sedans - with Milano Verde 3.0L Busso V6 swaps. Those always seemed wild to us, merging the era of the early transaxle cars with the later V6 offering. Today's Milano skips a few steps and decades in its combination of the seller's favorite Alfa Romeo offerings. A shower thought before, presently a reality.

Alfa project. Alfa Milano frame that has been modified to fit a 1967 Alfa GTV body. The best of both worlds the incredible 75 platform with the transaxle setup mated to the beautiful GTV body. The work was all done in my shop and was professionally done. The project comes with all the trim, light, bumpers and glass. I would recommend a donor alfa (3.0l Alfa milano)to complete the mechanicals and interior, the project will need a motor, transmission and interior seats, dashboard and a wiring harness. will ship worldwide. Please contact me if you have Questions. Thanks

You'll need an engine and transaxle, not to mention an interior, to complete this project. 3.0L V6s can be found pretty easily, though a cheap 2.5L might be worth it for the sound here. A 4.10 LSD Milano Platinum transaxle would also suit the scrappier character of the build. An interior might need to be a modified Alfetta GTV interior, or for those who like something unique, a Milano Verde dashboard and Recaros might look interesting in the Bertone body.

When it comes to combining a body with an entirely different chassis, the paradox is that you really want somebody else to spend the time doing it for you, but at the same time, it would be difficult to trust anyone but yourself to do the job. Priced at $5,000, we think this project is worth the ask for the labor alone, though the market might not agree. Who among us is brave enough to complete this project? Let us know in the comments!
