This photo originally apepared in the Anaheim Bulletin, May 9, 1958, announcing a display of “foreign and classic cars” at Disneyland:“A Concours d’ Elegance tops the schedule for activity in sports car circles in Southern California this Sunday, sponsored by the Los Angeles region of the Sports Car Club of America.“The event will be held at Holidayland in Disneyland and the cars will be on display throughout the day. Chuck Tillitson is general chairman of the event with Al Fleming acting as chairman of the judging.”The Abarth did belong to my grandfather, Dr. Karl Brigandi, but the photo shows (l to r) “Tommy Walker, Bobby Kasper, and Dianne Salisbury of Disneyland’s Customer Relations staff.”The car, by the way, is now owned by a private collector in Northern California.Phil Brigandi
