A chapter is coming to a close in Ferrari history. No longer will you be able to order a car with a Prancing Horse on the bonnet and a proper manual gearbox. Ferrari announced that the California will indeed by the last model with three pedals. Given this news, let’s take a look back at where the shift towards automated manual gearboxes first started to unfold, the F355. In the past, Ferrari had offered larger, grand touring models with full automatic gearboxes, and even offered a semi-automatic gearbox towards the end of the Mondial’s production run in the early 1990s.

The F1 gearbox management appeared in 1997. Like a lot of new technology, it didn’t get a whole lot of love at first, but through several evolutions, it has evolved into the automated gearboxes we have today which have eclipsed manual transmissions in both speed and efficiency. While they may be better at hustling you down the road, hardcore enthusiasts will always shed a tear that fewer sports cars can be had with a row your own gearbox. This F355 is one such Ferrari, the second to last year the hardtop F355 was available before being usurped by the F360.

I am selling my 1997 F355 GTB for a great price. I have spared no expense on maintenance and upkeep and you are receiving a fantastic machine. It has no damage history and it is in beautiful condition for a 1997 and this coupe model is considered by some to be the quintessential Ferrari of all time. It is a pure sports car, with 6 speed manual transmission, 380 hp and zero to sixty in 4.6s. The paint is original and is like a mirror and the interior is in fantastic shape. Only issue is dash near windshield has some shrinkage (see photo) but I have discounted my price to reflect repair for this. This is easily fixed and many 355s of this era have this issue. I have performed the following maintenance on the car for a total investment of $22k.

2011: New alternator, new exhaust headers, campaign #48 repair fuel block clamps replace, new luggage compartment struts, air pump assembly replace, air filter replace, censors cleaned, ABS assembly module and censors replaced, ECU replace, new fog lamp bulbs, wiper blades, oil and oil filter x3, air compressor replace, all fuses.

2012: Full engine out service with new timing belt, spark plugs and deep cleaning of engine and mild restoration work. Wiring replaced from ECU to instrument cluster. Various O2 sensors replaced.

2013: All fluids changed. Brand new Michelin Pilot Supersport tires (25 miles ago).

I also installed a Kenwood Exelon fully integrated DVD, CD, MP3, Garmin NAV, and SAT multifunction display unit. Best available on the market. It can also accommodate cameras should you want to install one. This is a total turnkey F355 in excellent mechanical and physical shape, in a rare color combination. It is the last year Ferrari used the famous flying buttress design. It handles superbly and sounds awesome. Truly a work of art on wheels and a complete driving machine. And lastly it is a Coupe and not a Spider which are a dime a dozen. I have original car cover with toolkit, owners manual and two keys. I have all service records on this car to the beginning of time, including all of mine, in a bound folder.

With Ferraris, it's imperative that any example for sale comes with documentation and service records, hopefully from day one, and this car does. The engine out service that was completed last year will save some headaches and money for the future owner going forward. At $47,000, this is reasonable money given the level of care taken, even if mileage is a bit higher than your usual Ferrari of this vintage. Now is the time to buy one of these. As time moves on and cars become a bit more arcade like, enthusiasts will clamor for the simpler days of yore.

1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. A beautiful car finished in the optional extra cost Burgundy paint. This is a factory color. This car is iin Yuma Arizona and I have owned it since 2001. This car is as good as it looks in the pictures. Everyone that looks at it loves it. As you can see in the pictures the car has been well cared for. Before I bought the car the man before installed a top of the line Alpine stereo system with navigation a remote CD player behind the passenger seat next to it is the long bass box 1 amplifier under one seat and 2 or 3 in the trunk. He also had the Panasport wheels installed which looks great and cuts cowl shake. Since I have owned it I have put about 15,000 miles on it.

When I bought I took it to Foreign Auto Menders an Alfa only specialist in San Diego and said what ever it needs do it. It needed I think only about $300.00 worth of work. All new hoses and water pump at that time just to be safe. I installed Koni shocks, a Stebro stainless steel exhaust system from Canada a very old sports car exhaust system manufacturer and it sounds great. I ordered a Squadra tuning computer chip from Holland that gives the car more low end torque. the steering wheel was replaced be the man I bought the car from and it looks great. The former owner of Foreign Auto Menders in San Diego,an Alfa only shop, said it is the most correct driving Alfa he has driven since new or better because of the wheels being lighter. Two years ago and about 3000 miles ago I had a new clutch installed and at that time I had them go through the transmission and replace what was needed. I also at that time had the cylinder head done with all NEW valve and guides. I also installed a new Bosch Fuel pump because it was starting to make noise when it hot. At $20,000, this is priced considerably higher than your average Spider. Good ones can be had these days for between $13,000 and $16,000. The color is rare and Panasport wheels are not cheap, but even considering that along with the level of care, it’s probably not enough to take it beyond $16,000 to $17,000. The market for $20,000 plus Series 4 Spiders with this kind of mileage just isn’t there yet. Discounting the price, however, it appears to be a nice car and should go on to prove many naysayers wrong that you can’t have a hassle free Alfa with over 100,000 miles on the clock.

With a few rebadged Chrysler products accompanying some smaller rebadged Fiat products, this company has turned into a shell of its former self. It was a company that dominated the World Rally scene for years and embraced innovative engineering solutions. Now, it has limited market reach and is a brand virtually forgotten in North America.

However, the classics will always be with us. This early Fulvia coupe is perhaps one of the prettiest cars that Lancia ever built. It's the car that kicked off Lancia's rallying dominance and you can experience it for yourself with this example for sale in California.

This is a very nicely presented Fulvia, if the color and steel wheels are a bit ordinary. Regardless, it's nice to see an early, simpler one preserved so well. Even the seats look like they have never been sat in. Fully restored with an engine rebuild, there shouldn't be much to worry about going forward. In terms of value, a 1.2 Fulvia like this in top shape should bring between $20,000 to $25,000.

The Lancia Gamma Coupe has to be one of my favorite designs to come out of Italy in the last 40 years, hands down. With each passing year, I've been surprised that more of these large coupes haven't found their way to US shores, now that they are legal to register here. But maybe it is a testament that few survived. Sure, these cars had their faults, but I'd be more than willing to put up with them in order to get my hands on a sharp piece of Pininfarina history. This Gamma 2.5 for sale in Florida has been in the country for about one year, after the owner sourced it from Austria.

Lancia Gamma Coupe designed by Pininfarina (1982), only 87,700 original km (less then 55,000 miles). I believe the only one in the USA. Lancia Gamma is an executive car from Italian Fiat Auto's up-scale Lancia marque, a true italian GT car. Gamma coupe was introduced in 1979 and produced till 1984. Only 6790 coupes built (15,272 berlinas). When launched at the Geneva show in 1979 there were crowds around the Lancia stand. The Lancia Gamma is a FWD car with longitudinally-mounted flat four engine, producing 140HP. This has the second generation fuel injected (BOSCH L-JETRONIC), with 5-speed manual transmission.

Very few survived and even in Europe it's hard to find a nice example. I found this rust free, original car in Vienna (Austria) last summer, sitting in a garage for years, because of a blown headgaskets. After the engine rebuild she got a new, very nice paint job, using the original color. I shipped it to Florida and it has now a clear Florida title. I mentioned it was rust free car when I found it and of course there in no rust anywhere. Please see the pictures (door bottom, fender's top and bottom). Interior is nice and original (cloth seats). Floor carpet very nice and clean no signs of wear.

There are some flaws: - both door upper weather stripe (belt moldings) is a little bit out of shape. Some wear on the driver seat and 3 dirt spots.

She is a real Grand Tourismo, a cruiser, which seats 4 people comfortably. The engine is strong, clutch and transmission works fine. Body is elegant and simple lines . The Fiat stopped to produce the 130 Coupe in 1978, and the next year the Gamma Coupe is introduced. Both car were designed by Pininfarina, but the Lancia more curvaceous then the angular Fiat Coupe.

Last week on the ebay the bid on the Fiat 130 Coupe went over $24,000. You can buy this Lancia (her sister car) for a significantly less. If you like to own a very unique Italian sports car or one of Pininfarinas works of art, this your chance. There are many more Lamborghinis, Ferraris or Alfa Romeos on the road from this era, but very few Lancias. One of rarest car on the market. If you have any questions call me evening at 407-732-6120. Given the prices of Fiat 130 Coupes that have migrated stateside, I'd suspect somewhere in the range of $12,000 to $17,000 should be a reasonable estimate. With only two examples said to be in the US, this is a good price to rarity ratio right here. Sure, the flat-4 engine offers up more torque and isn't a rev happy engine, but for a unique touring coupe, the Gamma is hard to beat.

Please confirm it with your wife/husband, view every single picture, document, and word of my car for sale, and please feel free to ask any questions you can think of and read all you can about this car before you commit to buy, thank you. I have owned this car since august 2012 and I am the 4th owner. This car comes with a clean car fax and lots of documentation including 30k mile service, full clutch replacement, full inspection done by ECS of Virginia, and more. I am selling it because I am looking for an AWD luxury sedan, possible trade.

Here is a comprehensive list of every single blemish/service/modification on this 11 year old car. Please note that I am well aware that most likely the buyer will be purchasing this car site unseen so that is why I have painstakingly listed every single flaw with this car and I can almost guarantee no one else that has listed there maserati was as thorough as I have been.

EXTERIOR

-The paint is in good condition with no sun fade, orange peel, or rust. The paint could stand to get a professional wheel for perfection.
-The front of the vehicle shows signs of normal stone chips but none of them down to the metal.
-There is a vertical dent about 1" long just behind the passenger door, no chipped paint just pushed in a bit approx 1/16". Looks like someone let there car door swing into this area in a parking lot.
-There is also a small (approx. 1/2 dia. x 1/8 depth) pushed in area on the drivers side wheel arch. I tried to get a picture of the area but the paint is like a mirror so I couldnt get it to be visible.
-2 of the wheels are missing the plastic Maserati Trident insert located in the center of the rim.
-40%-50% tire tread left.
-A previous owner stuck small dome mirrors on the exterior rear view mirror corners that I havent dared to remove.

INTERIOR

-On the very bottom of the drivers side door card there is some torn material from someone dragging there shoe tips across it getting in or out of the car. The biggest one is approximately 1/4".
-The steering wheel has some white specs on the top part of the outer wheel that I cant seem to get rid of.
-There is some dust inside the gauge cluster that I havent been able to suck out with a vacuum through the trip reset button opening.
-When I was disassembling the center console for the sticky buttons refurbishment I noticed that underneath the shift boot at the bottom of the tear drop area of the center console there is a screw missing, also the plastic ring thats glued to the shift boot to clip in to the center console was cracked in several places in that same area. I have glued it back together and it sits flush and tight now. It does not rise up as a result, nor is it noticeable in any way.
-The center console the inside of the ash tray is sticky from the plastic out gassing. This is common to all Maseratis, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis interiors.
-Sat/nav/cd shroud under the arm rest on the center console has been replaced with a used part. The original was cracked in several places. This part is commonly fragile. The condition of the used part upon very close inspection shows signs of the clear coat worn in places. It is not sticky in any way, and is consistently black with no fading.
-The drivers seat is just starting to show signs of wear on the lower part of the seat bolster.
-All 39 center console buttons have been refurbished by stickynomore.com
-3 windows have been tinted to 5%. Rear window and both rear seat side windows
-Headliner adhesive has given up in 2 separate sections. It hanges approximately 1" lower in 2 spot. I can email you pictures but ebay only allows 24 pics in an ad so I couldnt post them here.

DRIVELINE

-Mufflers have been removed and stainless pipe tips installed. The welded tips have been done in a way that going back to oem is only a matter of cutting the weld and reinstalling mufflers and hangers which are included. About a 20 minute job. -Heater core is beginning to leak. Currently the supply and return has been tied to each other so there is no heat right now, but no more leak. All electrical works fine because it was caught early. paperwork reflects this in the picture area. The car is fully drivable with no performance issues. $150 part and a weekend of your own labor or approximately $2,000 if a dealer does it.
-There is an occasional check engine light that comes on approximately every 2-4 weeks. With an OBD2 scanner it shows an $11 coolant sensor. I called josh from ECS of Virginia. (one of the countrys premier Maserati shops) and he assured me that because this is a hand built exotic car it is bound to have the occasional check engine light from random sensors. This does not affect the performance or put it into limp mode, it's just a light that comes on every now and then. I will leave the OBD2 scanner with the car so you can clear it on the fly cause its annoying to look at. This is the only code this car has every thrown in my ownership.
-Mild vibration from the drive shaft above 4,500 rpm. Stated in the shown inspection report, Josh from ECS has told me that this is due to the bolts connecting the driveshaft are not perfectly aligned from when the clutch was replaced. It does not need repair or affect the performance.
-Shifting from 1st to 2nd gear when the transmission is cold requires a little more pressure to engage then the rest of the gears. This is common to most 6-speed Maseratis.
-30k mile service has been done and comes with documentation.
-At 30k miles the clutch, flywheel, throw out bearing, and all associated hardware and sensors were replaced. And comes with documentation of this service. I must note that this transmission is common to a lot of other vehicles and the clutch Should last 100k miles like normal clutches. Someone obviously didnt quite understand how match revs when driving to limit wear.
-Oil and filter change recently.
-Headlight bulbs replaced.
-The passenger window regulator has been replaced, and later properly adjusted.
-A new battery has been installed.
-Inspection report shows control arm dust boot split.
-Inspection report shows low coolant level, but after the hoses have been tied away from the heater core the level has been topped off and is now holding level.
-Inspection report shows slight oil weep from front timing cover gasket. Josh from ECS has told me that if I actually start driving it more than the previous owners that the gasket should swell back to sealing.
-I have 16 more pictures showing documentation, exhaust, etc but i could only upload 24 pics on ebay.

Basically this this entire list of faults boils down to this, if you decide to drive in the winter for some reason, you might want to replace the heater core, and thats it. I have had no problems driving this car everyday and wouldnt hesitate driving it across the country. I have looked at all other Maseratis currently for sale and I have priced my car for the best deal in the country for the fastest sale. I work a lot of hours and simply dont have time to address these issues, and I figure that the new buyer could do these fixes at there leasure while picking it up inexpensively. Also note that if you have another vehicile you can call a daily driver you can use american collector car insurance for a significant discount, I'm paying $50/month for 7,500 miles per year for full coverage so the cost to own isn't outragious. This is one of the cheapest Coupe GTs I've seen yet. Sure, it has its faults, but for someone who is handy around the garage, it might just be the perfect way into rarefied automotive territory. I've spoken with a few people who own Coupes and Spyders and these cars aren't as unreliable as you might think, especially those with the standard 6-speed manual gearbox if you aren't into replacing clutches frequently. At this price and in this condition, I doubt this Coupe GT will last long.

This is a beautiful 49,250 original miles 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce that I have owned for almost 10 years. I am the third owner. I have kept this Alfa in our garage with a custom cover (included) for the entire time I have owned the car. I have replaced oil and fluids on a regular basis. The paint is original. I replaced the muffler two years ago with an ANSA exhaust system. I also replaced the trunk cable one year ago. The condition is immaculate as you can see by the pictures. High quality cloth top is absolutely like new (original) with perfect rear plastic window. Original tan Tonneau cover is perfect. Engine compartment very clean. No leaking oil, fluids, etc. There is no accident history, no dents, no dings. The AC could use some Freon. I am selling because...well, I am getting older and downsizing. This is the last car of a small collection I had (have an older 1984 Pininfarina that doesn't really count as the collection also for sale). I kept the best for last. I will add more information as I think of it.

I have added pictures via the above Picasa link (about 70 pictures). I note that the Alfa has all service books and records from the dealership and first owner. The Alfa has perfect acceleration/compression; everything is original, paint, etc...beautiful car. Oil changed every year (only about 1000 miles per year driven since I bought 10 years ago. To be clear, this Alfa compares or is better than the Alfas that sold on eBay in April for over $14K.

I just remembered that there is one item I should note: some disrespectful person broke the antenna off before I bought the car 10 years ago. I never replaced it because I don't listen to the radio or music with the top down. It is very easily replaced at International Auto Parts for about $82. It is completely accessible inside the trunk for replacement and would likely only take about 30 minutes to unscrew and re-install. See link for antenna.

It’s fairly common to find Series 4 Spiders with under 75,000 miles, as most were used as toys by those who had more than one vehicle. As we’ve seen with others like it, this one is worth around $12,000 to $15,000, probably on the lower end given that it is not the higher Veloce spec. For someone who wants a cheap and cheerful roadster but wants to avoid the hairdressers car syndrome of the Miata, there’s fewer options more attractive than this.

HISTORY OF THE ALFA ROMEO 164

The Alfa Romeo 164 was styled by Enrico Fumia at Pininfarina in 1982. The 164 can be seen as the logical extension and successor of the Alfetta, particularly the late-model "long nose, square light."

The 164 was the first Alfa to feature extensive use of computer aided design for calculating structural stresses, resulting in a very rigid but still relatively lightweight body. The 164 was the basis of the Type Four platform, which it shares with Lancia Thema, Fiat Croma and Saab 9000. Being the last to reach the market, the 164's body shell was the most aerodynamic of the four, and had a markedly sleeker profile and lower coefficient of drag. In order to permit this design variation, an exclusive front suspension was developed.

The 164 was the first of the "new technology" Alfa Romeos, and is the technological and styling basis of all Alfa's to the present day. The 164 also introduced dramatically improved build quality over previous Alfa's, featuring galvanized steel frame and various body panels for the first time, ending the most common complaint by Alfa customers about rust problems encountered in older models such as the Alfasud and the GTV. As a top-line saloon, the car proved it to be as a comfortable and sure-footed car, with a distinctively sporting character, consistent with the marque's tradition. In fact, the motoring press of the day found its only fault to be minimal torque steer, particularly in earlier versions.

The 164 was designed to compete in the executive car segment dominated by the German cars. It offered better value for money in terms of technology (having three onboard computers, one for air conditioning, one for instrumentation, and one for engine management; air conditioning and instrument functions shared a multiple-mode coded Z-80-class microcontroller for dashboard functioning). Air-direction within the ventilation system was controlled by a pair of servomechanisms.

The car had some very advanced features for its day, such as automatic climate control and electronically controlled damping suspension (in the top-line Cloverleaf models and 164 LS). This suspension actively reduced damping in response to conditions to provide a dynamic compromise between road holding and comfort. The 164 also boasted engines rated among the best in the industry at the time, and the same basic engine designs were used until very recently by Alfa Romeo across its model range.

OVERALL CONDITION

COSMETIC

Having traveled just over 107,000 miles (Under 6,000 miles per year!) and always "living" in California, the Alfa is in beautiful condition. The exterior has the appearance of a considerably new vehicle and the paint, body, trim, glass and other exterior components are in excellent condition. The car received a repaint in its factory original color within the last few years and the Alfa 164 LS shows very well indeed. There is virtually no over-spray on the trim and the paint is laid flat, free from significant orange peel or other defects and the car was painted as a "complete" (no partial painting of panels, etc.). The 164 LS is striking and the photos accurately reflect its condition inside and out.

Alfa Romeo's (and many other vehicles) carried permanent stickers on various panels (fenders, doors, front and rear bumper cover, and rear quarter panels) in order to determine originality and be able to ascertain if any accident damage has resulted in replacement of a panel (s). We look for these "Numbers" not only for the sake of originality but also to ensure that the car has not been involved in an accident. We are pleased to report that this Alfa has the original numbers on the rear quarter panels, all 4 doors, and both front fenders and the bumper (refer to photo in listing). The front and rear bumpers are free from any damage, significant imperfections or damage. Please take a look at the photographs that show the car was a suburban car and not subjected to the parking realities of big city life.

The exterior trim is all original and in what we often refer to as "California condition." The trim is devoid of all but the most minor imperfections that can be expected on a vehicle of this vintage, none of which detract from the overall appearance and attractiveness of the Alfa. The glass is excellent, all of the power windows are functional and there are no stars or cracks in the windshield. The mirrors do not show the typical rock chips and the front spoiler is free from the usual major scrapes and damage and in very nice condition.

INTERIOR

The interior on the Alfa Romeo is in lovely condition and shows minimal signs of wear due to the cars low mileage. There are some signs of patina of fine leather on the driver's side seat but the seat remains totally free from any rips, tears or damage to the seat bolster. This is a rarity with the relatively high bolstered sport style seating found in the Alfa 164 LS. The passenger seat, rear seats, door panels, dash, headliner, carpet (covered with carpeted mats) and other interior components are excellent.

The Alfa remains 100% stock including with the exception of a considerably improved radio that was mounted in the stock radio opening. Recently, the owner added new quality speakers in their stock openings to eliminate the "rattling" from older, broken speakers (receipts included). The system sounds great but does not have obtrusive aftermarket speakers added to the interior.

The instrumentation is totally stock and, unlike many Alfa's of this vintage, all of the instruments work fine as does the air conditioning, cruise control and warning light system. The automatic air condition system appears is fully functional due, in part, to ongoing maintenance by the car's owner who took a "cost no object" approach to the cars care. The LCD digital display readings show only partial numbers at some settings, a common reality with the older 164's. The power sunroof works fine as do the windows, door locks, remote mirrors and fully adjustable electric seats (both sides).

MECHANICAL CONDITION

In a word, excellent. This Alfa Romeo runs very strong and has been serviced by one of the most respected Italian repair facilities in the San Francisco Bay area. Receipts for replacement of the timing belt, brakes, O2 sensor, starter relay, #2 coil and other work are included and outlined below.

The Car Fax records also support the mileage and ownership history and show no adverse findings. Documentation in our file supports their knowledge of the car and the recent repairs and upgrades as follows (not all listed; just recent work totaling over $3,000.00 within 1,000 miles):

DRIVING THE ALFA ROMEO 164 LS

The Alfa 164 was always a great sports sedan to drive but the "S" version offers even more enjoyment. In all ranges the car offers excellent performance and pulls very strong and without hesitation. The car revs freely and upon hard acceleration there is controllable / mild torque steer due to the front wheel drive configuration of the Alfa. The idle is smooth and even and the car has recently passed the stringent California smog test.

Driving the Alfa is really a pleasure. There are no signs of mechanical issues and there is no noise in the drive-line. The clutch is excellent, the transmission shifts very well, the synchromesh gears are excellent (even at higher speeds) and the car is fitted with matching Michelin tires and original "telephone dial" Alfa Romeo wheels. The car steers straight, stops straight and has excellent brakes. An inspection of the underside of the car is clean and free from rust and any signs of previous repair or accidents. We encourage a review of the photos as the old adage "A photo is worth a thousand words" clearly applies in this instance! All of the electrical components are fully functional and the car passed California's strict safety inspection for lights, turn signals, wipers, within the previous week. The car is licensed and registered in California until March, 2014 and, of course, has a free and clear California title with no liens or encumbrances.

The trunk and engine bay are very clean and consistent with the condition of the car's exterior and interior quality and the original Alfa insignia mat is in place and in very good condition. Under the mat are the properly secured spare tie / wheel and the cars original jack.

We often times receive questions that go something like: "Does the car really look as good as it does in the photographs"? The answer in this case is yes. This car is a very attractive example of the difficult to locate 164 LS Alfa Romeo. Perhaps most important, this is an opportunity to own a truly unique and original Alfa 164 LS that offers great handling, looks and performance at a very attractive price.

It’s rather uncommon to see one of these LS models painted in Alfa Red. Usually this arresting color was reserved for the Q model. Nevertheless, I’ve always admired the Pininfarina styling on these sport sedans. Two decades later, these cars still look fresh and offer an affordable used alternative to the more common second hand luxury cars people tend to go for. A late model 164 in good condition will run you somewhere between $6,000 and $10,000, with the rarer Q models bringing a bit more if you can find one in outstanding condition. I’d suspect this one might bring somewhere in between $6,500 and $7,000 to the right buyer, since it has the manual transmission and a history of being maintained by a specialist.

Complimenting the mint condition Maserati Biturbo we featured last week, here we have a very low mileage example of that car’s evolutionary successor, the 430. The one thing that can be concerning about low mileage Maseratis from the 1980s is determining whether they have low mileage due to the fact they might have been bought by a collector or whether they spent more time in the shop than on the road. Like the Biturbo, the 430 can be had for pennies on the dollar these days. These cars were meant to be targeted as a more exclusive, upscale choice to the typical BMW 3 series and Mercedes 190s of the era, but have seen their values plummet to the level of those cars and below, due to the cost of upkeep. This car has minor cosmetic issues but nothing to detract terribly. A clean, well-sorted 430 could fetch between $12,000 and $14,000 at the high end. Good examples of these cars usually hover around $10,000. There’s a lot of questions to be asked with regards to this car and why it sat for so long, and a lot of things might need attention to make it reliable for regular use. This one is certainly worth a punt, but, as they say, caveat emptor.

Maserati Indy 1972 EUROPEAN CAR, only 18.000 originally miles, with rare 4.7 Engine, 4 webers (including original airfilter) and 5-speed ZF manual gearbox, electric windows, power steering, air conditiong etc. Fully equipped. The restauration was completed with new weatherstrips and rubbers and hoses etc. while trying to keep her as originally as possible. She is not welded! No Rust. She has never seen salty coast areas, always has lived in dry climate. Of course she never had an accident. Mechanically she is also very good due to the low kilometers and care. Interior is in excellent condition and mostly original, see pics.

She just got a "Big Inspection" with all fluids changed and all adjustments (including valveplay) made. Ready to drive. Please ask any questions in German (my origin), English or Spanish, my French is unfortunately bad 🙂

The car is sold privately and I offer you of course an independent opinion for this car, if you like 🙂 As told, the paperwork is clean and the car has a fully documentation since born. The 1970s were a rather dark time in automotive history, leaving automakers scrambling for solutions to ever tightening emissions and safety regulation. This resulted in an era of lower performance and marred styling by way of things such as crash bumpers. Over the years, technology has come around to improving performance and economy, even if styling has taken a back seat in some cases. Through it all, though, Alfa Romeo has always given the petrolhead something to swoon over. Alfas of this vintage are a good way to get into the Italian car hobby on the cheap, if, of course you have the stomach for regular maintenance. I like the look of the Alfa, but slimmer, European style bumpers would round off the look a bit for me. Given the condition, $7,500 isn’t terribly bad for what you are getting. If a little bit can be bargained off the price, you’d have a nice, usable classic.
