Along with the Alfa Romeo Spider, the Fiat 124 Spider is one of the most popular Italian classics in the US. Nearly three quarters of its nearly twenty year long production run was sent to the US market. As a result, there is a plentiful supply of these roadsters available, but relatively few of its hardtop sibling, the 124 Sport Coupe. These coupes employed the Lampredi designed twin cam four cylinder engine that was featured in the roadsters and included advanced features such as four wheel disc brakes and a 5 speed gearbox. The AC was the first series of these coupes, followed by the BC and CC series. Production for all three series spanned from 1967 to 1975. This example for sale in Indianapolis is one of the best I've seen in quite a while.

Now a rarity on the American Road, a rust free 124 coupe such as this one is a hard item to locate! In fact this car was imported by a Marque Enthusiast from South America a few years back. This car is a true survivor, that while presentable and quite drivable as is, could bennefit from some restoration work. The Seats appear to have been redone in the correct and hard to find material, and the car runs and drives quite well but will need some electrical sorting. Really these are very minor things that can be addressed over time as one enjoys the car and becomes familiar with it. I doubt you will find a better 124 Coupe on the market today.

While these coupes are less common than the Spider, the best Spiders out there may command anywhere from $15,000 to $20,000. For the condition and mileage, around $10,000 to $15,000 could be considered a fair value for this tidy little coupe.

One could consider it a miracle that Maserati is still in business to this day. A multitude of owners and mergers left the company struggling by the late 1980s. Then, Fiat came along in 1993, when the automotive giant sold 50% of its interest to Ferrari. Now partnered with Alfa Romeo, Maserati is enjoying strong sales despite a global economic downturn. One of the shining moments in Maserati history was the Ghibli, a handsome grand touring coupe introduced when the company was owned by the Orsi family and ceased production after the Citroën takeover. A Spyder version of the Ghibli was introduced in 1969, but only 125 of these gorgeous drop tops were ever produced. Subsequently, surviving examples command big prices, such as this concours example for sale in California.

Absolutely stunning and superb example of a 4.7, 5-speed powersteering equipt Ghibli Spyder one of 125 built. AM115 1209. This car was in the Boston Museum of Art prior to receiving a complete, no expense spared restoration of more than $180,000. Numerous recent 1st place awards as the car was finished in August 2010. Everything is new or rebuilt and is likely the finest example available. Dark Blu Notte with Cashmere leather and matching wool carpeting dark blue canvas top. Completely sorted mechanically without issues or excuses. Drive and show anywhere condition. Average current prices for 4.7 "drivers" at $300k all needing complete renovation to achieve this level. This car is turn key ready to show and go. Fast, smooth and everything these car should be. Tools and jack, receipts, manuals, cover. Serious and knowledgeable interested please apply. More info available & inspections welcomed. Other Coupe and convertible Ghibli available.

At almost half a million dollars, this is certainly one of the more valuable classic Maseratis. Even Spyders in rough shape can bring upwards of $200,000, so a no expense spared restoration such as this vehicle is worth the extra coin, as parts for such a rare vehicle can be daunting and expensive to source.

Every since the original Volkswagen Golf GTI appeared on the scene, the automotive landscape has never been the same. The hot hatchback took over where the roadster left off in the 1970s, and cars such as the Mini Cooper S, current Volkswagen GTI and Fiat 500 Abarth offer motorists big fun in small packages. One of my favorite hot hatchbacks of the 1980s is a bit of a dark horse. The Fiat Ritmo, or Strada as it was known here in North America, didn't exactly set the sales charts on fire. That could possibly be attributed to the fact that they weren't the most attractive or well built vehicles. Another reason could be the mere fact that Fiat omitted their hot version from the lineup here, namely the 105TC, 125TC and finally, the 130TC that we see here. The 130TC was a dual carb little monster, capable of 60 mph from a standstill in about seven and a half seconds from its twin cam, 2.0 liter 128 horsepower four cylinder engine. This very original example is for sale in Potenza on the Italian Adriatic coast.

Fiat Ritmo Abarth 130TC, 1985, 2000cc, 89,000km, red over black interior. Black and gray plate, in original condition and perfect shape. Original exhaust and wheels, new brakes, new reconditioned carburetors, new fuel pump, new belt. Ready to immediately use. Enrolled in the ASI, beautiful and fitted with certificate of historical importance.

As with most Italian cars, red suits this Ritmo Abarth. The asking price of over $11,000 USD is a hard figure to swallow when the best, most original Strada here in the US may bring $2,000 to $3,000. But, for those intrepid enthusiasts, there is a lot of interesting machinery that is now legal to import stateside, this fiery little hatchback being one of them.

In the fourteen years since the Volkswagen Group has taken over ownership of Lamborghini, we have seen this marque transform from a financially troubled low volume sports car manufacturer to a stable producer of high end, aggressive supercars that successfully combine Italian flair and German sensibility. As a follow on to the Diablo’s successor, the Murciélago, Lamborghini introduced a smaller, V10 powered sports car called the Gallardo. Less expensive than its larger V12 powered sibling, the Gallardo has been the most produced vehicle in Lamborghini history, hitting the 10,000 mark in 2010. With the Gallardo having been around now for a few years, used examples are readily available. While still expensive, you can find clean, lower mileage examples well under $100,000, which isn’t too bad for such a flamboyant vehicle with all-wheel drive capability. This example for sale in Atlanta has the standard six speed manual gearbox and has covered just over 40,000 miles, which begs the question, are these new Lamborghinis built to last?

Very clean 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo. It comes with a highly desirable color combination of silver exterior with ebony interior.

There have been stories of wealthy enthusiasts using these new all-wheel drive Lamborghinis as daily drivers, such as rally driver Jon Olsson of Sweden. At a little over $80,000, we are in the same price territory as the recently revised Porsche 911. Is it worth taking a chance on such an exotic, even if it has Audi DNA built into it? If I was in a position to do so, I would pull the trigger on this car. As the French would say, vive la différence.

Few Americans may be aware, but 2010 was the final year for the Alfa Romeo Spider. While this most famous of Italian roadsters hasn't been sold on these shores in almost twenty years, the last car to wear the Spider badge was a front-wheel drive wedge shaped sports car based on the Brera coupe. A far cry, then, from it's forefather we see here, the Giulietta Spider. But whether it's the boat tailed Spider that made its appearance in The Graduate or the later wedge shaped Spider of the late 1990s, these cars have always personified carefree, open roofed motoring at its finest. This Giulietta Spider has been recently restored by a specialist in Philadelphia and looks stunning in classic red.

This is a freshly restored 1959 Alfa Guilietta: Euro Auto Classics Philadelphia who specialize in Alfa Restorations. The Unibody was stripped and all new Original Alfa Red was applied. All trim was re chromed and looks brilliant. New head lamps and Tail Lights, new bumpers, new seats and interior was imported from Italy. New top from Italy

Engine rebuilt, new tires and wheels, all electric was redone. New fuel tank, all brakes and rotors are new. The car was completely stripped and re done professionally. The car runs and drive awesome. Has a five speed manual. Undercoated with fiberglass, new mufflers

Will go to one of the live auctions after this sale if unsold.

Any Giulietta Spider that is well sorted will command strong money. More than likely, this one's reserve is probably in the high $20,000 to low $30,000 range. With summer right around the corner, it's the perfect time to try one of these classics on for size.

One of the cars at the top of my wish list to import is the Lancia Delta Integrale. With earlier models of this rally legend legal to import, I am now awaiting the day when the later Evo models will be welcomed within US borders. While this Integrale is not an Evo nor 25 years old, it already resides in North America and is a remarkably well kept, low mileage example. Those enthusiasts living in Canada or for any US enthusiast who may be able to figure out how to federalize this car should take note.

I am offering one of the best 100% factory original 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale 16V with 28,413 original miles. Yes, twenty eight thousand original miles since new! This is a rare numbers matching 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale, the 6 time World Rally Champion and was stored in a private collection and still looks as new today. Lancia won more rallies with the Delta Integrale than any other car!

Here are some highlights: The actual mileage on this Integrale is 28,413 original miles or 48,000 km. No rips, tears, cuts, or any other imperfections in the factory Recaro leather seats, door panels and dashboard - brand spanking new! Non-smoker and was never smoked in by anyone else. There is an original Sony Lancia stereo.

MOTOR: 2.0 inline 4 cylinder, 16 valve, 210 horsepower.

TRANSMISSION: 5-speed transmission. The transmission shifts perfectly in every gear.

BODY: 100% rust free, all metal! This Lancia Delta Integrale has the factory original paint and was never in any accident or collision whatsoever. All original factory shell panels, no aftermarket parts whatosever. Perfect floors, rocker panels, trunk, etc. Look at the detailed photos.

EXHAUST SYSTEM: Factory exhaust system front to back.

WHEELS/TIRES: Factory original, OZ Racing wheels will be bead blasted and refinished in any color you choose.

INTERIOR: All original, factory Recaro leather interior. What can I say? Again, let the photos speak for themselves!

I am sure I forgot to mention other stuff that was done, please ask me any questions that you have.

WHY I BOUGHT IT?

To the best of my knowledge and from the Integrale I have ever seen, this is the best unmolested original 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale 16V, just the engine compartment alone speaks volumes of its condition. No black tar or black paint to cover up the flaws like all the others I have seen. It is as the day it came out of the factory.

WHY AM I SELLING IT?

I bought an Aston Martin and need to sell some of my precious toys. The asking price is very reasonable, after all, you are buying as new, lowest mileage, unmolested Integrale that should be a part of a rally collection.

TITLE/SHIPPING

This 1991 Lancia Delta Integrale comes with a clean Canadian title. I will assist the buyer in shipping and can arrange delivery to the USA/Canada or anywhere in the world at the buyer's expense. I encourage you to come and see this Integrale for yourself. I do not want to mislead anyone to its condition and my standards may be different than yours.

These early 90s, pre Evo Integrales tend average around $15,000 to $20,000 USD for examples in decent nick with under 100,000 miles. I would go out on a limb and say that given this Integrale is one of a few in North America, the asking price is worth it, given you will be avoiding shipping and customs fees. A tempting piece of (currently) forbidden fruit for US enthusiasts, but if you have a place to store this until it's legal in 2016, this would be a great investment and a fun piece of performance motoring history.

After World War II, many things changed for Alfa Romeo, the most important of which was the evolving new car marketplace. No longer was there a great demand for large engined grand touring machines. Consumers preferred much smaller, more efficient vehicles as a result of an economy in recovery. Introduced at the Paris Motor Show in 1950, the 1900 was the first Alfa Romeo to carry unit body construction and had a twin cam, four cylinder engine that matched the power of it's six cylinder predecessor, the 6C 2500. The switch to smaller vehicles ensured Alfa Romeo's survival going forward but coachbuilders had a difficult task when it came to modifying a car without a separate chassis. Nevertheless, there were several versions of the 1900 bodied by famed Italian coachbuilders, such as this SS Ghia, which included a slightly larger, higher horsepower engine.

1954 Alfa Romeo 1900 SS Ghia ID# AR1900C01838. Delivered new to George Walker, then VP of Design at Ford Motor Company and comes with known provenance that includes Miami, Italy, Monte Carlo, Switzerland, and returning to the U.S. in mid 2000. This Alfa was also shown at Florida’s Italia Fest in February and received a 2nd in class award. Pictured and described in Benson’s book as unusual and bearing resemblances to the Bertone BAT cars.

This same car was for sale back in 2006 by the same seller at $350,000. The worldwide economic downturn has affected the classic car market, especially for more obscure classics such as this car. One of the last 1900 Ghia Coupes to sell was in 2009 at Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach. That car sold for $170,500, inclusive of the buyer's premium. Realistically, this car might bring anywhere from $150,000 to $200,000 in this market.

Under both manufacturer umbrellas, the A112 was given the Abarth treatment. This 1984 model represents the end of the model run, as the last Abarth A112 was produced in 1986. With 70 horsepower in a package not much larger than an original Mini Cooper, fun times ensued. This example for sale in the Netherlands has about 60,000 miles on the clock and has been fairly well preserved.

While little in terms of a description is provided, this does look to be a rather unmolested example. These are great little cars and a good option for those seeking something just a little bit larger and more powerful than the Fiat 500 but with more of the "what's it" factor than Minis and small VW hatchbacks of the same era.

We've featured a few Alfa Romeo sedans this week, and here is one more to round out the week: an impossibly mint 1991 164S. The S is my favorite of all the 164 sedans, as it is the more sporting of the trim levels. A bit more horsepower was squeezed out of the 12 valve single cam V6 via modified camshafts and intake system. On the outside was modified lower body cladding and 15" alloy wheels. The interior was treated to more aggressively bolstered seats, with Recaro seating as an option. This 164S is for sale in Philadelphia at an attractive price.

The top-line engine 3.0 L "Arese" V6. Leather Interior! LOW MILEAGE Vehicle! Power Windows!	Moonroof! Manual Transmission! Original Radio!

You are looking at a very rare super low mileage Alfa Romeo hat has been well kept and maintained; it's an all around great looking vehicle. This is a-never-smoked-in beauty that looks and smells great. The exterior is black in good condition. The interior is black leather that looks new. The console and dash look great as well!

The engine sounds, runs and feels smooth and provides abundant power. The 3-liter, fuel-injected V-6 develops 200 horsepower. This is one sedan that steps rather lively from the light and doesn`t need a turbo or supercharged boost to swing quickly into and out of the passing lane. The 5 Speed Manual transmission shifts well - smoothly and easily.

All the electrical options appear to be in working order. The engine compartment looks clean, and void of any leaks. Great running condition vehicle. The A/C works well and blows cold air! We had our mechanic check the car. All in all, the car really runs great! As you can judge for yourself from the pictures - the interior is clean and looks great!

The trunk has many functions, one of which is obviously the superior cargo capacity. The back seats come down in case you need to increase the payload capacity. The trunk is very clean and roomy as you can see from the pictures. The previous owner used it sparely and it looks as if it were new. This is a unique one of a kind vehicle, that is painted with a color that really makes it stand out in the crowd of other cars. It's been garage kept, and is in good condition.

According to the vehicle report, this 164 lived in New York City for most of its life. You wouldn't know this from the appearance, though, as this car looks extremely well kept. Save for some rusty lug nuts and a marred badge on the grille, there's not much that needs tidying up. I've seen some 164 sedans priced well above $10,000 in the last few years, but these are usually museum quality pieces with under 50,000 miles. I'd say this car is priced in the ballpark. Its condition and mileage along with the S trim level and 5-speed gearbox make it one of the most desirable 164 trim combos out there.

Looking like an enlarged Fiat Topolino from the front and having hints of the Chrysler Airflow from the rear three quarter view, the Ardea was Lancia's small car entry from 1939 through 1953. This was a milestone vehicle in that it was the first car to be fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox beginning in 1948. These were well thought out cars, with a V4 engine, a 12 volt electrical system starting in 1941 and alumnium cylinder heads on the 4th series, which bowed in 1949. Curiously, this is a right hand drive vehicle. From the mid 1920s, dictator Benito Mussolini required all drivers to drive on the right. Lancia, always one to do things their way, continued to produce right hand drive cars until the 1950s. This Ardea is currently for sale outside of Turin, Italy.

Lancia Ardea year 1950. Original Italian plate & papers. Very well preserved and in good working order. ASI Gold Plate homologation. Mille Miglia elegible.

The ASI (Italian Vintage Car Club) certification is a huge plus with this vehicle. Coming across an Ardea these days is a rare treat, especially a survivor like this. Valuing an Ardea, especially in the US market is a challenge due to the limited supply. Hagerty lists and average value of $16,488. If one could pick this up in the $13,000 to $14,000 USD range and leave enough of a cushion for shipping costs back to the US, you would have an interesting piece of automotive history to show off at your next local car show.
