I am a huge fan of this era of Alfa Romeo sports sedans. While here in the states we fortunate to get the top spec engine offered in the 164 QV (quattrovalvole meaning 4 valves per cylinder), there was at least one more variant we didn't get that was even more special; the Alfa Romeo 164 Q4 (short for Quadrifoglio 4 this time) which featured that top spec motor AND a sophisticated 4 wheel drive system.
