1966 Fiat 600 Abarth Berlina Corsa Replica

Here's a nicely presented Berlina Corsa replica for sale at Sports Car Shop in Eugene, Oregon. It's been nicely hot-rodded with a Gulf livery paint scheme, tasty Abarth bits, and a huge ragtop fitted for open air driving. Would be perfect for someone who actually wanted to enjoy the car instead of just having it stored in a collection.

quote from Sports Car Shop on this car:

It is finished inside and out in the classic Gulf colors to a driver level standard. It is also fitted with a Webasto type cloth sliding sunroof. This car was built incorporating the classic Berlina Corsa racing modifications. The changes include Abarth grille and badges, the special front radiator extension assembly and cover, fender flairs, and deck lid props. These changes give this little Fiat 600 a look that just says fun and fast. Body is solid with floor rust repair panels that have been welded in place on the floor pans correctly, and we can find no further indication of rust.

[...]

Forward propulsion is provided by a built 903 Fiat motor that has been reverse rotated and mated to a 600D gearbox. Stopping power is excellent since it is now provided with front 850 disc brakes and drums in the rear. The motor starts easily and runs smoothly even at idle, and is very strong with the down draft Weber.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I do some work for SCS and these pictures were taken by me. It's a cool little car and I hope it finds a caring new home.

Very nice ABARTH-replica with an huge composition of ABARTH-aftermarketparts from the early 1965 up to 1971. The 2nd serie fiberglass radiatorhouse (FIA appendix K) is from 1964. The type of these widearches frontfenders is unknown. The (selfmade)widearches rearfenders are from the late TCR-version up to 1968. The dashboard is unknown and not Abarth-like. The carb-manifold for the Weber is wrong, because the installdwell is 8° from the horizontal position (made for the Fiat 850 Sedan,Spider,Coupe). It runs better, if the carb is in an horizontal position.
